The Finnish company Jolla has spilled some major news about its new device ahead of its launch day. The device will run its newly created Sailfish Operating system, which is compliant with Android apps. It is not clear on how many apps it will support at this stage. The phone will feature a 4.5-inch display, a dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera, LTE (in selected markets), removable back covers, 16GB of onboard storage, and a microSD slot.
The device will go on sale this year for €399 or $510. So far the launch is limited to a select few European countries with other regions to get it in the future. Jolla hopes to release the device by the end of the year.
