Rumour Roundup – Nokia EOS and Budget iPhone
Today’s Rumour Round-up sees a new Name for The Nokia EOS, rumoured to feature a 41-megapixel camera, might ultimately be called the Nokia Lumia 1020. The Name should be officially announced at a New York press event on 11 July.
From the leaked images above you can easily see that the new Nokia will sport an aluminium body with its massive camera hump that will support the 41 megapixel camera. It is also rumoured to pack a 4.5-inch, 720p display, a quad-core processor and 32GB of storage.
Also in rumour news today is the posting by WeiPhone of an alleged backplate picture of Apple’s much rumoured low-cost iPhone. The image is unverified, and there’s little information attached. However, the rounded edges and plastic-looking material suggest we could be getting a small glimpse at what Apple’s new budget iPhone could look like.
The pictures show that there is a single LED flash, along with a rounded microphone hole. We will have to wait until September/October for any news on a release.
